The Halloween lucky dip game.
Subject	Seasonal party game. Halloween vocabulary and some structures.
Group size:	Suitable for classes of 1-8
Team teaching game?	Can be played with one teacher.
Materials	Lucky dip ‘pouch with cards. 50:50 treats and monsters. Vocabulary pictures or silhouettes on card with card ‘handles’. Add music for mood.
Game set up.	Place the cards in the bag with the handles sticking out.

 

Playing rules.	Take turns to draw out a card Identify the object. Points for candy and treats. Nothing for a Halloween monster.
Variations.	Play a last man standing game. If you get a Monster you are out. Last one out wins. (About 6 years and upwards).
Richard’s comments.	Simple little game that, when played with a little energy, is surprisingly popular with the older students too.
