Materials |
Prepared basic questions or other sentence structures. I use three levels: a) Words shuffled. (simple version) b) Words shuffled and letters in each word shuffled
with spaces. (common) c) Words shuffled and letters in each word shuffled
with no spaces. (advanced) You
could have some of each to allow differentiation in class. |

Game set up. |
Simply place the Anagrams on the board. Work in
pairs or individually depending on the students to answer the question. |

May well work for other short
phrases too. |

The ‘anagrams
pot’ A pot of subject specific sentence anagrams pre-prepared and dropped in
a pot or envelope. Are you ready to take a pot luck.
‘Time.’ (Days,
months, time references etc.) ‘Place.’
(Countries, shops, buildings etc.) ‘Activities.’
(Games, hobbies, sports etc.) |
