The carpet bingo game.
Subject	This should work for pretty much any vocabulary. Also suitable for simple sentence structures. Do you...? Can you…? Etc.
Richard’s comments.	Simply super flexible.
Group size:	Teams of up to four should be ok.
Team teaching game?	This game can be played with one teacher.
Materials	Vocabulary flash cards. 'Calling cards'. Tokens to cover the squares.

  

Game set up.	Divide the students into two teams. Divide the vocabulary between the two teams. Place with the team (face up).
Playing rules.	The teacher uses a second set of ‘calling cards’ to identify the target vocabulary. On identifying the vocabulary. (Complete structures if required.) The students turn the vocabulary cards face down. (For positive and negative responses, I have the students reply positively if they have the target word and negatively if they do not.)
