Materials |
Focus
cards. |

Game set up. |
Small
classes can sit in a half circle around the teacher. Large
classes can be divided into teams and two teams can play at a time. |

Playing rules. |
Go through the vocabulary cards before going to the
carpet. Read and repeat once more on the carpet. The teacher
turns on card upside down. That is the danger card. If the danger card turns up you must stand up and
jump three times shouting the word before sitting down again. First
student sitting back down wins a point. First team sitting wins another. |

Variations. |
Change the danger card action. Add
different danger cards to the vocabulary set |
